How can we create an engaging online course about Métis history and values for provincial government social workers?
Online Course
01
The course was built using Articulate Storyline 360. This is a highly interactive and engaging course using voiceover and animation. Course content is delivered linearly, where the user clicks to the next slide to advance. There are 10 different sections in the course, where every detail is customized to the client’s needs. Below is a preview of what the course looks like.
Graphic Assets
02
Custom graphics were made for every single slide. Colours were derived from Métis Nation of Alberta’s course colours. Beads were a motif that was carried across in the visuals of the course.
Beading Interactive
03
This interactive was made to simulate the labours of beading. This is traditional artwork adorned many Métis garments and clothing. Traditional patterns such as the prairie rose were often beaded.
